Farmington Square Assisted and Memory Care in Salem, Oregon welcomed Jessica Penland as its new Executive Director in November of 2019.
“We are thrilled that Jessica Penland has chosen to accept the role of Executive Director at our Salem community. Beyond her proven success as an Executive Director, we know that her experience working in a multitude of roles across the spectrum of senior living positions her well to connect with the team and provide exceptional care to our residents,” said Jodi Guffee COO of Radiant Senior Living, the parent company of Farmington Square of Salem.
Penland began her career in senior living at the age of 17 as a housekeeper then moved into roles as a caregiver, medication technician, wellness coordinator, business office director, and assistant executive director before being promoted to the position of Executive Director. She began her work for Radiant Senior Living in March of 2011.
She has been recognized as Radiant Senior Living’s Administrator of the Year in 2017 and 2019 for her outstanding business leadership, ability to build a cohesive team and dedication to the care and well-being of the residents she serves.
“I am reminded of a quote by Antonio Brown when I think about my role here at Farmington Square, ‘The journey is never ending. There’s always gonna be growth, improvement, adversity; you just gotta take it all in and do what’s right, continue to grow, continue to live in the moment,” shared Penland.
